Please keep this at the back of your head. Note to self, note to all.

I can never really understand how a person can get so pissed/frustrated/irritated/unhappy/upset in maybe let's say.... a club?

We're there to party, to have a great time with friends... to let loose ...no?
I just don't quite understand how one can get to the extend of being SO FRIGGIN MAD PISSED , followed by sweeping everything off the table...
ALL the bottles... the glasses....
and continue throwing punches at the other party for whatever mistake he or she did that displeases you in any way? (most of the time a would be a "he" ) Is it worth the fight? really? Why do you fight like it's the end of the world?
Under the influence of alcohol maybe.

I mean.... most of the time it started off with what I would still deem as "PUNY"
like accidentally pushing someone for example ?
The one being pushed would stare back hard and give a face which totally screams" I DON'T CARE I DEMAND AN APOLOGY NOW !!!!!!!!!"
If an apology isn't received....
and in WORSE SCENARIOS, some would act all blur about the blatant sorry and stare back just as hard and a fight would start. Almost instantly.
Sometimes, leading to a group fight... in unfair situations like maybe.. 3 is to 1?
Not funny.

But hey.. the one being pushed....you didn't fall that hard to the ground, did you? Your teeth are still intact sitting in your mouth aye?
Let go... don't go after the "sorry" ... Be the bigger wiser man.

Just recently, one  happened. Didn't witness the entire situation but it happened to a Butch, who we thought was a guy at first by her dressing . I had zero clue on what triggered this fight to start.
All I heard from my friend was that...
She was on the ground trying to defend herself from the unremitting kicks and punches that was thrown to her by 3 men where she laid on the broken glass . Her face wasn't spared.
By the time it came to the attention of the bouncer , it was too late. The fight ceased.

Leaving the battered poor girl with blood oozing out and rolling down from the wounds/cuts on her face (and I don't know where else) dripping onto the carpet as she is being carried out of the site immediately..
Being attended to with the help of the first aid box to disinfect her wounds while waiting for the ambulance to arrive . All I could do was feel sorry.
The last I saw was on my way out to get a cab....
The injured was rooted onto the gurney which was somehow a chair.

Omg dudes... chill please? Who knows? All that just to hear a "sorry" maybe?

Not forgetting the price you'll have to pay for, when you let your anger get the best of you ...
In more exaggerated but possible scenarios, what if you accidentally kill someone in the process of venting out your anger , in a moment of folly , even if you have no intentions of doing so?
Are you ready to face the music?

And, what about your family? Your own actions doesn't solely affect you.
It affects everyone around you, Your family, friends and all those whom you played a role in their life and vice versa.  Why are they being "punished" along with you for your rashness and misdeed acts?

Working at clubs... I have never gotten into a fight with anyone ...not even minor ones. And , I hope it stays that way.
However, it doesn't mean I haven been pushed, scratched, punched in the arm by female strangers ... =x
Small "accidents" are very prone in clubs especially when almost everyone drinks? And, when it's soooooo crowded. Spare the person and spare yourself and just let it pass , alright? :)

This isn't a rant... Neither do I find it meaningless to post. Just my two cents.
I'm always asking you people to come party! Lol!
I feel partially obligated to remind you guys, party animals in particular... of what you all should already know in a sober state of mind.

It breaks my heart to see the aftermath of fights like this.
Goodbye. Please be alright. X

Are we alone ? ( Part two)

Continuous from PART ONE!
*chills down the spine*
Are you ready? :p haha

1) Manchester it was, where Z chanced upon this meeting. On the way to Z's room after her dinner, she noticed a figure leaning against the wall by the side of the hotel lobby leading to the lifts. It was a bony woman clothed in ethnic Asian attire, her head wrapped in a dark scarf. She remained motionless while the flurry of hotel guests walked past her from both directions.

None threw a glance her way. Yet the woman stood out like a sore thumb. Why didn't anyone notice her? As Z walked towards her, the hairs on the back of her(Z's) neck stood erect. Something was not quite right, she knew. But still, that was the only way to reach the lifts. Eyes lowered to the gleaming floor, she briskly made her way there, taking care to inch as far as she could from the lone figure.

Walk! Just walk! Don't look! The terrified girl (Z) told herself. The bent figure raised her head the moment she was within mere meters away. Instinctively, Z raised hers as well and their eyes met. Except that instead of eyeballs, what greeted Z was a pair of hollow black pits. Somehow the ghostly entity knew that this human had the unwelcome ability to sense her presence and wanted to make contact. Either that or it was curious to see how fast the poor girl (Z) could sprint across the lobby without wetting herself.

2) Yet another disturbing experience. Unable to sleep, D tossed and turned on the overly-soft and creaky mattress. Think sleepy thoughts, he told himself. Just then, the temperature dropped several notches, bringing a sudden chill to the room. He pulled the duvet up his chest and curled up on his side. Moments later, the other side of his bed sank lower, as though someone had laid on it. He stopped breathing and remained completely still. Again, the slight rustling of the sheets was apparent.

As much as he tried to convince himself that it was probably due to his imagination, it was impossible to ignore the movement behind his back. The bed was occupied and he was not the only one for sure. With his heart threatening to leap out of his throat, D sealed his eyes shut and prayed. When he came to it was several hours later. Not wanting to take his chances, the guy requested a change of room and made a mental note of the original room number which obviously had a "guest" who overstayed.

Realised most/almost all are overseas?
Haven really heard stories about the ones that happened in SG... The ones I heard of are perhaps only found in Russel Lee's book.

Anyway, 平时不做亏心事,夜半敲门也不惊。
In English, If you haven't done anything against your conscience, fear not the knock on the door at midnight.
:)

Now now, who's with you in bed tonight?

As the liquid flow, the mood mellows. Women seem shallow, a few turn dirty fellows.

Not written by me...
but felt it was worth sharing.. :)

"J" revealed the real reason behind the breakup with her seemingly perfect boyfriend. He was not the typical Don Juan good looker but had no problem attracting women with his boyish charms and bad-boy demeanour. The buxomly girl was not lacking in the looks department and they made an extremely cute couple.

At Paris, the group of friends decided to joined the rest for drinks in one of their rooms. Several rounds of bourbon coke and vodka limes later, some were in seventh heaven. Some stumbled their way back to their own rooms to puke or crash in private. Soon, only the couple and the hostess remained. Being the occasional drinker, "J" fell victim to the alcohol racing through her bloodstream and slumped on a corner of the carpeted room.

When she came to, the rhythmic creaking of bed coils stopped in its tracks. The occupant of that bed did not include her. Shell shocked, the girl emptied her guts right onto the shocked bastard of a boyfriend and stormed out of the room.

No words were exchanged thereafter. No action was taken by her either. I guess in her case, it is the unsaid that speaks louder.

Are we alone? ( part one )

Not a superstitious nor paranoid person over issues like this to begin with.

I'm either going to f#*k your mind, or this can act as a friendly "reminder" haha

It's not gonna be a full story... just bits and pieces from the things I've read .

So, here it goes....
............................................
............................................................

1) The room is at the very end of a row. Each room features two backdoors, one leading to the spartan bathroom and another identical door that opens up to a stark-walled backyard with no lighting. After one too many openings of the wrong door and only to be facing creepy blanket of pitch darkness, I would mark it to prevent another inadvertent scare.

It is well known to be favoured by a "resident" who often treats the unsuspecting occupant to a recital of the alphabet past midnight. The sweet child-like voice on the other end of the telephone line would go " Hello, would you like to hear my ABCs? " Even as the half asleep victim grapples with the seemingly innocent offer from a little girl, the recital would begin.

" A,B,C,D........H,I,J,K........." the high cutesy pitch of the voice slides to a disturbing inhumanly low almost animal-like growl.

2) A girl refused to fly to London after the last one gave her such an distasteful experience. With the lights off, she was about to doze off when the television screen came alive on its own accord. The tired girl struggled to locate the stray remote on the bed which she assumed was accidentally pressed on. After a few minutes of futile skimming, she reluctantly turned on the table lights, only to see the remote sitting aloof on the table.

Puzzled, she attributed it to an electrical problem, switched off the television and returned to catch up where she left off. Moments later, the screen buzzed to life again. Irritated, she decided to switch the mains off once and for all. Thus the third occurrence had her jumping out of the bed and room in her night gown. Perhaps there was a logical explanation, but it sure left a bad taste.

3) I've never practice this procedure whenever I stay in a hotel room/whenever I travel.

Do you.....
  • make a point to inform the "occupants" by knocking three times on the door before entering the room with a polite " Excuse me", just so that he/she/they know that you are in transit?
  • followed on doing a quick check of cupboards, toilet and under the bed for human trespassers and who knows what else you may find?
  • toss your bag onto the unused twin bed ( if you're traveling alone) ? It is said that the messier the bed, the less likely we would have uninvited "roommates" .

Now,
Who wants to hear my ABCs?

*Part two coming right up * ;)

Gatsby event + Dinner at Marche ! ♥

Back dated post! I wanna slap myself for posting so lateeee omgzz lol

Worked for Gatsby on the 28th and 29th last month along with 19 other girls!
We were all spread out between orchard mrt and somerset mrt!
Did you manage to spot us? :)

Nevertheless, these 2 days has gone by so quickly...
It was pretty tiring ....
Work started from 12-7pm...
We had to report early before work too...

Under the blazing sun the whole afternoon and try standing on those high heels for 14 hours !
My legs were crying out loud after day 1! :(
And after day 2, I don't wanna walk anymore I want to be carried LOL
*kidding* but I really didn't wanna move ! :/
Not to mention, we were tugging the heavy Gatsby bags behind us ...
Giving out the samples nonstop.. trying to finish giving as fast as possible...
Also thanks to the humid weather in Singapore, our skin got so sticky!
Try the Gatsby Body Ice Paper if you haven! I personally loveeeee it!
I loveeeeeee the after soooooo cooling sensation it left on my skin! :)

Beat! But oh well, I'll still love to have another chance to work with Gatsby again! :)

And I wasn't hungry at 7pm , too tired to be hungry I guess... haha

And baby was nice to bring food to the table while I just sat there and wait! :)

♥ ♥ ♥ ANTOINETTE @ PALAIS RENAISSANCE ! ♥ ♥ ♥

Antoinette at Palais Renaissance is unique as it's indoors , yet, it has a garden theme...
I guess the ambience will be a tad better if some sunlight is allow in..
The place was slightly dim.. Quite a nice place to chill I would say.
Enjoyed my time there . :)

The food is awesome too! likeeeee LEGIT AWESOME!
Because the ones that we tried has a very unique and distinct taste!
We didn't order a lot that day... we just wanted to chill somewhere at town!

 Dear Jacelyn!
Yours Truly!

This room interior is SUPERRRRR GORGEOUS!!! *SCREAMS*
They usually only open it when the outside (garden) is full!
I really hope the next time I'm there , there won't be any seats outside! hehe!
And it's open for functions like birthdays/celebrations/party/etc ! :)

Cute boxes, cookies and other goodies which you can purchase before you leave. :)

My favourite photo in this post! :D
